Trivia Contest! | Round 2: Sioux Falls

Here is your question:
The Ingalls family is most closely associated with the town of De Smet, in Kingsbury County, South Dakota. However, when the family moved to the area, the town of De Smet didn’t exist and South Dakota was not yet a state! Laura was 12 years old when her family moved to The Dakota Territory. How old was she when South Dakota became the fortieth state?

With each new stop on the tour, we’re posting a trivia question focusing on the LITTLE HOUSE books, the musical, Laura Ingalls Wilder’s real life and history, or the television series. The answer to each trivia question will somehow relate to the city, state, or region in which the musical is currently playing.

A winner will be randomly selected from all the correct answers submitted, and that winner will receive an autographed poster, in addition to a “genuine and authentic” prop from the First National Tour of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, THE MUSICAL! What a deal!

Next Tuesday June 1st, LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, THE MUSICAL arrives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the Washington Pavilion! For more information on the Sioux Falls show, visit the official site for the Washington Pavilion or call (1.877.WASHPAV)

Leave your answers in the comments below! Good luck!
